IN-PERSON LATE REGISTRATION (Juniors Division)
Feb 17th ~ We will be holding in-person late registration for the Junior Division on Saturday, February 21st at Skyline High School from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm.  Don't miss out.  We have a great season planned. (M. Davis)
TRYOUTS FOR JUNIORS DIVISION
Feb 17th ~ Tryouts will be held on Saturday, February 21st at Skyline High School.  Tryouts will begin at 9:00 am.  Please arrive early and get warmed up. (M. Davis)
DICK’S SPORTING GOODS LITTLE LEAGUE DAY ~ Feb 21st
Feb 17th ~ Dick’s Sporting Goods has provided coupons to our league.  You should receive a coupon from your team manager.  Please contact Pat Fenelon at vicepresident@santannational.com if you do not receive one.  On the 21st, Dick’s will add an additional 10% off to the coupon.  You could get 25% off apparel (including pants and socks), 20% off bats, 20% off cleats, etc.  Don’t forget to mention San Tan National Little League. LET THE DRAFT BEGIN (MAJOR'S AND MINOR'S)

Feb 8th ~ With the Majors and Minors tryouts complete, it is now the managers turn to put this years teams together.  The Majors will have their draft this coming Wednesday, February 11th at 7:00 pm.  The Minors draft will be the following day, Thursday, February 12th at 7:00 pm.  Both of the drafts will take place at Sun Valley Office Plaza.  It is located just east of Power Rd at 7165 E University Dr.  Good luck Managers. CELEBRITY BASEBALL GAME
Feb 4th ~ Scottsdale Stadium ~ Sunday, February 8th, 2009.  The gates will open at 11am and the game is scheduled to start at 12:30pm.   For more information please visit www.arizonabaseballcharities.com. (M. Davis)

TRYOUTS FOR MAJORS, MINORS, AND ROOKIE DIVISIONS
Jan 28th ~ Tryouts will be held on Saturday January 31st and February 7th at Skyline High School.   Tryout times are broken down by age groups.  Eight year olds will start 9:00 am,  nine year olds at 10am, 10 year olds at 11am, 11 year olds at 12pm, and 12 year olds at 1pm.  We will also be holding late registration during tryouts so if you have not yet registered come on over anytime between 9am and 2pm.  (M. Jan 5th ~ We will be holding in-person registration on Saturday, January 10th and Saturday, January 24th at the City of Mesa Fire Station #217 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The fire station is located just east of Signal Butte Rd at 10434 E Baseline Rd in Mesa, AZ. (M. Davis)
OPEN FIELD WORKSHOP
Jan 5th ~ Baseball tryouts are just a month away. We will be having an open practice on Jan 17th and again on Jan 24th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Skyline High School. All ages are welcome and the cost is only $10. We will be reviewing the fundamentals of fielding, batting, and catching a fly ball. Hope to see you there. (M. Davis)
PLANNING AND PREPARATION BEGINS
Oct 23rd ~ Your NEW 2009 SanTan National Little League Board met for the second time just a few days ago.  We are already preparing for the upcoming 2009 Spring Baseball Season.  There are events to plan, a budget to balance, and approximately 300 baseball kids to get ready for.  We have assembled a talented and competent board ready to take on the 2009 Season.  Opening Day is tentatively scheduled for March 28th, 2009.  Lets get ready to play ball.  Click here to meet your new 2009 SNLL Board.
